As at April 2020 the Westney Road system was the largest solar array in New Zealand. It has now been surpassed by the 1.166 MWp Foodstuffs North Island Ambient Distribution Centre.
It received the Runner Up prize in the Best Grid Connected System category at the 2019 SEANZ Awards.
