Reid Technology won the 2012 SEANZ Largest Solar Farm PV - Off Shore award for this project and we were a finalist in the 2013 Sustainable Business Network awards in the Renewables Impact category.
On commissioning Maama Mai was the largest solar farm in the Pacific.
Maama Mai survived Category Five Tropical Cyclone Gita when it hit Tongatapu in February 2018 and restarted working normally the following day.
